| Before you can attend our obedience and agility classes on a
regular basis, you must first have taken out membership in the club itself. However, it
is advisable that you and your dog attend one of the obedience training sessions and have
an informal discussion with one of the trainers before joining. This will enable you
to confirm that the activities of the Club are right for you and your dog, and to allow
the trainer to assess your dog's behaviour and training level. In this way he or she
can advise on the appropriate class for your dog's current ability. You
can also take this opportunity to go over any particular issues or problems you are having
with your dog's behaviour so that these can be addressed.
If, having attended that initial session, you wish to proceed, then a membership
application form is available either from the Club Secretary, or it can be downloaded from
this website by clicking on the link below (Adobe Acrobat or similar portable document
file reader required).
The current annual membership fee is £10, payable on 1st May.
Please note that Agility Training is normally only available to existing club
members who have attended at least three Obedience sessions in the current year.
